Untangle & Thrive
A 12-Month Recovery Skills Program for Real-Life Sobriety
You did the hard part. You got sober.
But walking out of rehab is just the beginning.
That first year out—the reentry into your home, your job, your relationships, your life—is where most people falter. Not because they’re not committed. But because they’re unprepared for what comes next.
You’re suddenly expected to rebuild your life while regulating your emotions, healing your past, and managing the daily pressures of a world that hasn’t changed—while you have.
Untangle & Thrive was built for this moment.
The moment after rehab when everything gets real.
💡 What Is Untangle & Thrive’s program?
A 12-month, trauma-informed recovery skills program that supports you from the moment you walk out of treatment to the moment you fully step into the life you’re ready to live.
This isn’t therapy.
This isn’t a support group.
This is a structured, skill-based, deeply supportive container designed to help you stabilize, grow, and thrive in your real life—one phase at a time.
🛠️ Who It’s For
You’ve just completed or are about to complete treatment
You’re scared of relapsing—or confronting difficult circumstances
You don’t know how to organize your days, space, or emotions yet
You want to feel steady, supported, and capable in your real life
You’re ready to do the work, but you need a structure that holds you
If that’s you, Untangle & Thrive was made for you.
🛠️ How It Works
🔄 The Four Phases of Real-Life Recovery
Phase 1: Foundations (Days 1–90)
Home Sobriety & Nervous System Regulation
.You land back at home—but nothing feels stable yet. This phase is all about grounding, safety, and reorganization. The first 90 days are critical for establishing "Home Sobriety"—the embodied, practical experience of living sober in the real world. This phase helps participants land safely after treatment and begin building a new, supportive structure at home. We focus on creating physical, emotional, and relational stability, beginning with the environment itself: reorienting the home space to reflect recovery values, creating new routines, and establishing systems of care that hold and contain early sobriety
Reorient your space to support recovery (yes, even moving furniture)
Establish new rhythms: sleep, food, movement, routine
Work with your nervous system—not against it
Stabilize with weekly coaching, structure, and support
“Home Sobriety” means learning to hold the mess while building structure. This is the groundwork for lasting recovery—a steady rhythm that can carry participants through transitions and uncertainty.
Phase 2: Skill-Building (Days 90–180)
Boundaries, Identity & Belonging
In Phase 2, you will move from early stabilization into the deeper work of identity integration—shifting from “I’m sober” to how do “I belong to this new version of myself.” This stage focuses on building the emotional, behavioral, and practical skills that support aligned, sustainable change.
The core question guiding this phase is: “Who am I becoming—and what needs to change to support that version of me?” You will explore how old patterns (people-pleasing, avoidance, compulsive spending, dishonesty) no longer fit the identity of someone committed to growth and sobriety. We create space to examine these behaviors without shame and replace them with skills that honor self-worth, agency, and healthy connection.
This is where you learn to live aligned with your new identity.
Who are you without substances?
What behaviors no longer fit the new you?
How do you say no—or yes—without guilt or fear?
How do you earn, spend, and create with intention?
This is the phase of integration and self-definition—where you will begin living in alignment with who you truly are and who you are becoming. Sobriety is no longer just about what you’ve left behind, but about what you want to build.
Phase 3: Integration (Days 181–270)
Resilience, Expression & Real-World Recovery
Now you start living into your future.
We work with real-life triggers, social dynamics, and the pressure of responsibility.
Relapse prevention strategies for real-world stress
Repair fractured relationships with clarity and confidence
Practice creative expression to unlock authenticity
Vision your future and align your actions with it
Integration isn’t a goal—it’s a skill. We teach you how to live it.
Phase 4: Thriving (Days 271–365)
Purpose, Leadership & Ongoing Growth
This is the part where you stop managing recovery—and start owning your life.
Clarify your long-term values and direction
Lead in your relationships, work, and community
Build a sustainable life plan that includes joy, work, and rest
Reflect on how far you’ve come—and keep going
Thriving doesn’t mean perfect. It means present, powerful, and clear about who you’re becoming.

I’ve walked this path.
And I’ve created Untangle & Thrive to offer the structure, tools, and compassionate guidance I wish I had after rehab.
I’m a certified recovery coach, somatic practitioner, and author of Untangle: How to Create Big Possibilities Through Small Changes.
